Minimal 3 bit multiplicator circuit

2x3 bits in, multiplication, and then 6 bits out. There are no simpler designs. This is the record setter. It contains just NAND gates because that is simpler. I use 39 of them. The runner up used 48. And this is indeed bragging, to show off my circuit design abilities.

I have other more commercially interesting designs as well. They are faster, more cost efficient, use several types of gates, and also have few components. One example is an 8 bit cosine lookup table consisting of just 80 gates. I minimalise cost, energy and complexity of designs, and maximise speed.

My designs and services are for sale and hire.

Propagation delay is presented approximately as the downward position of gates in my drawing.
