Ray tracing:
The following 2 images are related in that they are regular arrangements of dodecahedra. The first have 4 dodecahedra around each vertex, making a hyperbolic space. The second have 3 dodecahedra around each vertex, making parabolic space, a 4D ball.

The hyperbolic space was projected to a 3D sphere, which was cut in half, so the inside can bee seen:
