OpenSUSE 11.2, review
Avoid! It has become bad.
The Opera browser is
defect. Drivers for NVIDIA and ATI are barely working. The good
drivers, with 3D and stuff are difficult to find. The file
viewer do not accept text paths, do not understand that iso
files are to be burned, and Gwenview hangs. It also confuses
usb-storage devices by showing the contents of one when another
gets connected. Konqueror is hidden away, but still works. A
notifier says a job is running and not running at the same
time. Thunderbird is weird. "xorg.conf" do not exist any
more. The software installer often crashes. Kernel modules link
do not refer to a real place in the sources.
It was:
/lib/modules/2.6.31.5-0.1-default/build ->
/usr/src/linux-2.6.31.5-0.1-obj/i386/default
It should be:
/lib/modules/2.6.31.5-0.1-default/build ->
/usr/src/linux-2.6.31.5-0.1
There is probably more bad stuff in it, but
this is what I and friends have found in the little time it has
been available.

Update 2009.12.17: Fedora 12 seems to work fine.
